161 Things to be Happy About

I recently bought a book called "14,000 Things to be Happy About". While reading it I realized all of the little things that make life awesome- and then I started to make my own list. I obviously didn't come up with 14,000 things (although eventually I probably could) but I had a lot of fun making the list and look back on it often to remind me of all the reasons I have to be happy and grateful. October Faves

HOLY COW!
I can't believe its October already!
2 months till Christmas... haha but who's counting?!

This month I've been obsessed with the trees changing colors- its so gorgeous!
I love sweater weather. It keeps getting colder though which kind of freaks me out considering i have no tolerance for cold. Living in Hawaii killed whatever tolerance i used to have...

ANYWAYS here are some of my favorite things for October :)

#1 SLEEP SHIRTS

I got this sleep shirt from Target (my favorite place on the planet)
and needless to say, I'M OBSESSED. This thing is so comfy. (buy HERE)

#2 DARK BLUE NAILS

I picked up this nail polish at Target as well- Its a super super dark blue (almost black) polish. I'm usually a bright nail color kind of girl but i decided to try something a bit different. And I'm glad I did! It looks super chic. (buy HERE)

#3 BARE MINERALS PRECISION FACE BRUSH

I fell completely in love with this foundation brush at VidCon when Bare Minerals did our makeup for our performance. It literally feels like a face massage when you put on foundation. I'll never go back to anything else :) (buy HERE)

#4 VICTORIA'S SECRET BOMBSHELL FRAGRANCE MIST

My sister Hailey has used this fragrance for years now and I've secretly coveted it... SO I GAVE IN and bought one for myself! They say that perfume smells a little different on everyone... at least that's what I'm convincing myself of ;) Anyways its the greatest. I also love their PINK fragrance mist in Fresh and Clean. I wear that a ton too. (buy HERE)

YEP! those are my current little obsessions :) Let me know what your favorite things are for October in the comments below!

Inspired for Fall

I like to wear more natural looking makeup in the Fall- I find that my skin starts to dry and whatever was left of my tan officially fades. I love dewy porcelain skin, so lots of moisturizer and liquid foundations are my go-to.

Is this not the perfect hairstyle for fall?! I love a more messy beachy wave for summer- but something like this is a bit more sophisticated and structured. A perfect transition into fall. (p.s. also, her makeup is beyond amazing, don't you think?)

LOVE this look. Layers on layers! Its getting chilly- but not unbearable to the point where you have to wear turtle necks and 15 layers 24/7. Layering sweaters is super fun and stylish! Also, suede booties never hurt anyone :)

Summertime Sadness

Summer is near the end!
It went by way too fast this year...
Its time for everyone to get back into their regular school routine-
no more late nights,
no more waking up late.
Its time to get back into homework and studying as well.

The photo above is one that I took while living in Hawaii.
I lived on the beach, and this was my "backyard".
I miss it so much.
There's something about living in such a beautiful place,
and spending time in nature.
Its so nourishing for the soul.

Ever since I moved from Hawaii I've kept a "Summer" board on Pinterest.
I post pictures that remind me of Hawaii (or summer in general) ;)

follow my Pinterest board HERE...

What'd you guys do this summer?
ready for school?

Let me know in the comments below...

NEW VIDEO! Our "Cups" version of Beyonce's "End of Time"

Hey guys!
Just wanted to share our latest cover with y'all if you haven't seen it already-
We had been wanting to do the "cups" song for a while, and we LOVED the harmonies in Beyonces "End of Time". I think it was Hailey's idea to combine the two, and we loved how it sounded!
It took us so many takes to get a good one where i didn't drop my cup... haha (and we still used a take where i did drop it haha).

Also, we decided to put the bloopers back, just like the old days ;)

Let me know what you think of it in the comments below!

My Summer Favorites

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
Summer is here and kickin'!!!
Just wanted to quickly share some of my very favorite products that I haven't been able to live without this summer...

1) Aussie's "Aussome Volume" hairspray

I don't use hairspray often, but during the summer i use a bit to maintain beachy waves! This hairspray has become a favorite of mine- it doesn't get crunchy and it smells DELISH.

2) Secret gel deodorant in "Passion de Tango"

OH MY GOSH. My armpits have never smelt so good. My sister converted me to the gel kind of deodorant- at first i was a bit skeptical about it... And then i tried it- it goes on clear, and lasts waaay longer than the normal deodorant!! I seriously LOVE this stuff.

3) "Malibu Heat" body splash

I almost cried tears of joy when Bath and Body Works brought this scent back! I swear- they always discontinue my faves! BUT NOT THIS TIME KIDS. I wear this on a daily basis. It smells so summery! And it reminds me of when I got to go to Maui last summer. I wore it the entire time I was there :)

4) Revlon Photoready foundation

I owned this foundation a couple years ago, but never replaced it when I ran out. I remembered loving it, so i recently got it again! GOOD THING I DID because it rocks! It gives me just the right coverage while still looking super natural. Also, it gives a nice dewy finish! (sometimes a bit too dewy for me, so i put a bit of powder on top so i don't glisten so much when the weather is hot haha ;))

5) "Pure Paradise" Beach Waves hair mist

Ever since I lived in Hawaii I LOVED what the ocean did to my hair. I got such effortless waves all the time! Unfortunately, Im not near the ocean right now, but this product gets my hair pretty close to those salty waves! You can find this at Bath and Body Works- I love what it does and I love what it smells like! It gives great texture and volume. I think I'll buy like 50 of em' and stock up before summer ends :)

Let me know what your favorite summer products are in the comments!

I'd love to hear from you guys ;))

Good Reads: "Relish" by Daphne Oz

I picked up this book a couple weeks ago at Target-
I'll be honest, I've never actually watched The Chew before (I'm not much of a TV person), but after flipping through the pages i was convinced to buy it!

Daphne's book is centered around food, with awesome recipes for all occasions. In addition, she gives beauty and health tips, travel musts, tells you how to be a homemaker or a great hostess, gives advice on how to live your life to the fullest, and so much more.

I had so much fun reading it- I LOVE books like this.

Anyways, I highly recommend it!!

You can buy it here on Amazon :)

I hope you love it as much as I do!!
